Common Name: Temple Bells
Latin Name: Pieris Japonica
Origin: Native to China
Position: Best kept under a shaded area loves the cooler climate
Watering: must be kept moist and not allowed to dry out. Do not however leave in a dish of water..
Feeding: As the roots are fragile it is easy to burn the roots so keep the fertiliser to the edge of the pot as much as possible and only feed half strength
Pests and Diseases: fairly hardy can get root rot if allowed to stand in water
Repotting: needs to be done yearly never bare root and plant in a course medium to keep roots cool and happy
