Common Name: Lavender Star

​

Latin Name: Grewia Occidentalis

​

Origin: Native to northern Europe and asia

​

Position:  Needs a sunny position and must be protected from cold weather of below 5c

​

Watering: needs to be kept slightly moist do not allow it to dry out

​

Feeding: Feed every 2 weeks with high nitrogen in spring and low nitrogen in autumn.

​

Pests and Diseases:  fairly hardy can get root rot if allowed to stand in water

​

Repotting:  needs to be done yearly never bare root and you can remove up to 30% of the roots at one time
