Origin: Native to South America

​

Position: Needs a full sun and high temperatures to produce flowers.

​

Watering: water thoroughly in a well drained soil and avoid standing in water as this leads to root rot and fungal problems.

​

Feeding: Liquid fertilizer every week during the growing season

​

Pests and Diseases:  Mealy bugs spider mite and scale can infest a weakened tree. Keep healthy by avoiding wet soil conditions and lack of light between branches

​

Repotting:  repot smaller ones every 2 years and larger ones every 3 to 5 years
